Russian Photographer Takes Portraits With Real Animals And People Say Her Works Look Like They’re Straight From A Fairy Tale (52 Pics)

These pictures are what dreams and fairytales are made of—Russian photographer Katerina Plotnikova creates beautiful portraits that balance between the real and surreal. While she nails lighting, composition, and other important aspects of the craft, arguably the most impressive feature of Plotnikova’s work is her feature of animals that we aren’t used to seeing in fine-art photography. Like a bear. Or a moose.

While seemingly dangerous, these ideas were made possible with the help of professional animal trainers.

20 Photos Of The People Living In Yakutia, A Place Where It Gets As Cold As -58 Fahrenheit

That’s when he got into photography. Aleksey says that he’s inspired by Yakutia, even though he used to dream of traveling the world. “Yakutia seemed to me like a hole, an icy desert,” said the photographer.

Aušrys Uptas

One day, this guy just kind of figured – “I spend most of my time on the internet anyway, why not turn it into a profession?” – and he did! Now he not only gets to browse the latest cat videos and fresh memes every day but also shares them with people all over the world, making sure they stay up to date with everything that’s trending on the web. Some things that always pique his interest are old technologies, literature and all sorts of odd vintage goodness. So if you find something that’s too bizarre not to share, make sure to hit him up!

Got wisdom to pour?

Russian “Vandal” Draws Graffiti On Dirty Cars, And The Owners Aren’t Even Mad (New Pics)

Has anyone ever written “Wash me” or scribbled some doodles on your dirty car? How about a full-sized RoboCop? Nikita Golubev (featured previously), an artist from Moscow, Russia, is taking dirty car drawings to a whole new level.

The artist turns dirty cars into a canvas for his unique creations. Even though Nikita has previously worked on various different projects, this one is special for its fragility and temporality. From hammerhead sharks to squatting pidgeons – the artist’s works are special and one of a kind. Next time you’re in Moscow, don’t wash your car – who knows, maybe the artist will turn it into a work of art?

Check out Nikita’s unique dirty car art in the gallery below!
