The NBA legend’s latest purchase is a 1990s Tudor-style home with five bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms in Los Angeles’s Bell Canyon enclave
If you keep up with the Kardashians—and it’s hard not to—you know that the family takes a particular interest in home design. Kris Jenner loves over-the-top holiday decorations, Kourtney’s home contains museum-quality pieces, and Kanye West has developed quite the friendship with Axel Vervoordt. In our recent interview with Kim Kardashian, who is an early adopter and adviser for ScreenShop, an app that creates a shoppable catalogue from any inspirational image, she revealed that her husband is not just a fan of the Belgian designer, but also a collaborator. “My husband makes all of his own furniture in his office,” she says.“My office is all Vincent Van Duysen, but Kanye is so good at it, he loves to draw out pieces. Axel made a couch in our house called the ‘Kanye couch’ because Kanye designed it with him.”
Even if you’re not getting frequent house calls from your hair and makeup artists, a glam room is a cozy place to work on your look before you take on the day. With the Kardashians skyrocketing the term into everyday lingo, having a solo space to get ready is becoming increasingly popular for self-care, and this has never been more true than it was in 2017 thanks to celebrities sharing their glamorous get-ready spots.
