Kim Kardashian Posts Photos Of Her Mansion And It’s So Empty, People Start Hilariously Roasting It

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are a very rich couple who can afford a very expensive mansion. The pair – who live with their four children – purchased their current home for $20 million in 2013 before starting extravagant renovations which continued for four years. Kris Jenner later tweeted that the property is now worth $60 million. The family moved into the house in 2017 and their fans and followers have been curious about their life inside the mansion ever since. And they got a few glimpses of it.

Not so long ago, Vogue went to visit them. Kim called their place a “minimal monastery” and said that it was inspired by Axel Vervoordt, a Belgian art dealer and interior designer, as well as Kanye himself. She also recently tweeted a few pics of the interior, however, a lot of people seem surprised that her and Kanye’s house looks very empty. Which, according to some, is even more confusing given the fact that the power couple have little kids running around.

Eventually, the internet decided to help them decorate, and everyone started photoshopping things into the mansion. Continue scrolling to see Twitter’s interior design ideas, and check out more Photoshop battles that Bored Panda has written about. Like the one with a badass hawk. Or this awkward half-cat.

Vervoordt said that teaming up with the couple to create the interior for their house was an unlikely meeting of the minds. “I’m not from the pop world, the rapper’s world. But I discovered Kim and Kanye as wonderful human beings,” he told Architectural Digest. “We have common values in life, important human values, like respect for the beauty and spirituality of art. You can call it religion, but this is perhaps beyond religion, a search for cosmic values of peace and positive energy. We had very profound conversations about the space of the mind and the importance of silence.”

The designer and tastemaker explained that these conversations were what guided the vision of the interior. Vervoordt described the process as distillation. “Kanye and Kim wanted something totally new. We didn’t talk about decoration but a kind of philosophy about how we live now and how we will live in the future. We changed the house by purifying it, and we kept pushing to make it purer and purer.”

As a result, many of the rooms in the house were transformed. They became luminous, further accented with pale natural materials. Most of the furnishings consist of Vervoordt’s subtle designs, complemented with works by the likes of Royère and Pierre Jeanneret. “The proportions are the decoration,” Kanye said. However, Photoshop wizards clearly disagree.

IKEA Trolls Kanye West And Now The Internet Joins In

Back in March (in)famous rapper Kanye West expressed interest in a collaboration with furniture manufacturing giant IKEA. He tweeted the company months ago offering to work together, and now he finally got the response. Just maybe not exactly the one he expected.

He’s opened up the communication with a tweet saying: “Super inspired by my visit to IKEA today, really amazing company… my mind is racing with the possibilities…” IKEA didn’t respond to that one, but just recently Kanye was interviewed on BBC Radio 1, where he resurfaced his intentions: “I have to work with IKEA — make furniture for interior design, for architecture,” and after this he finally got IKEA’s response.

IKEA Australia posted a photo on Facebook of a Yeezy bed design reminiscent of the same controversial bed with naked celebrity wax figures from Kanye’s latest music clip. Unsurprisingly that also caught the attention of quite a few internauts who just happened to have Photoshop at hand.

Kim Kardashian Reveals What Chicago West’s Nursery Looks Like

North, Saint, and Chicago West—the children (ages 4, 2, and less than one month, respectively) of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West—may be just as famous as their parents and the rest of their famous family. Even Chicago, who has yet to have a photo or even her actual birth date released, is certainly one of the most talked-about newborns in Hollywood. But that doesn’t mean that her nursery doesn’t include hand-me-downs from her older siblings.

In our recent interview with the mom of three herself, Kardashian revealed exactly what baby Chi’s nursery looks like in their new Axel Vervoordtdesigned Hidden Hills home. “I’m pretty much using the same crib and everything that I had for our other kids,” she said. “We have a Vetro Lucite crib and we have a [Jean] Royère bed in there and a really fluffy cream rug. We had a changing table made.” Despite the high-end touches (Vetro cribs sell for the likes of $4,500 and Beyoncé and Jay-Z are also fans), Kardashian knows comfort is top priority when it comes to late nights with a new baby. “I have a glider with an ottoman for feeding; With the first baby, I had a rocking chair, and I just love a glider so much more—you can move easier,” she said.

The Kardashian-West household is famously white; the entire home is composed of “light colors and woods and soft and natural colors,” according to Kardashian, and the cost of upkeep with three kids has bewildered fans. Kim says she runs around the house with towels constantly, but ultimately encourages her children to let out all of their creative energy in a playroom so that “by the time they’re done there they have no desire to take a pen on a nice piece of furniture.” And with pieces designed by names like Royère, Pierre Jeanneret, and Vervoordt, that’s probably for the best.
