Inspired By A Newborn Photoshoot, This Artist Imagined How Disney Princesses And Villains Looked As Babies Interview With Artist

If you are a big fan or just love both Disney princesses and cute babies in general, we think this post might totally be your cup of tea! Why, you might ask? Well, artist Alex Pick reimagines some of the most well-known Disney characters as adorable babies, be it princesses, mermaids, or even some of the villains.

The artist was first struck with the initial idea when he stumbled upon the work of the talented photographer Karen Marie, who previously did a photo series with newborn babies dressed as Disney princesses. It wasn’t long before Alex took everything into his own hands and re-drew the said pictures in his signature Disney-like style.

10 Disney Princesses Given Realistic Proportions By Artist Holly Fae

As beautiful and inspiring Disney princesses may be, there’s one thing that’s a little off about them – they’re not really that realistic. What I mean by that is that their eyes and facial proportions look a little alien-like when compared to those of humans. And while it’s perfectly normal since it’s a cartoon, after all, artist Holly Fae decided to give a handful of Disney princesses subtle makeovers just to see how they would look with more human-like proportions. The artist even filmed the whole process of her makeovers and her videos went absolutely viral on TikTok, with some of them being viewed over 5 million times on the platform!

“I first started doing hairstyles when I was about 6 years old. But I’ve always been interested in braiding, for example, bracelets. Then, when I was about 10 years old, I started doing more advanced hairstyles,” the young hairstylist told Bored Panda.#4

Currently, Milena’s Instagram account has more than 30,000 followers, which is a pretty good indicator that people are loving her works. “I think that my hairstyles are pretty unique and special and people are usually amazed and shook that this is possible,” the hairstylist told Bored Panda when asked, why, in her opinion, people are interested in her creations. “When I first tell people that I do hairstyles, they can’t really imagine what kind of hairstyles I do, but once I show pictures, they are speechless because they’ve never seen anything like that before. That might also be the reason for the attention that I’ve recently been getting on Instagram.”#16

One of my friends in Geometry had her hair like this, except it went down to her butt, so she always had it around her neck like a scarf. One day, the guy next to her was incredibly rude. He asked her out, she politely refused, he got angry and started calling her a slut, and the teacher couldn’t get him to stop. Well, you know the sting of the ponytail? She leaned a little ways away from him, and whipped her head the other way. Her rope-hair-whip went FLYING and hit him in the jaw. He shut up. They both went to detention, which almost everybody thought was incredibly unfair.19ReplyView More Replies…View more comments#53

This Artist Brings Disney Princesses To The 21st Century

If you ever used TikTok, you probably know that it’s full of adults dancing to children’s songs, cringy duets, and, of course, Indian Joker. However, occasionally you can actually stumble upon something truly creative – like 29-year-old artist Yudelmis “Yudie” San Emeterio who has recently been making the rounds on TikTok with her modern recreations of Disney princesses.

In a recent interview with Buzzfeed, the artist said she saw people giving makeovers to Disney characters and just couldn’t help herself. She says that her main goal is keeping the transformations as close to the original style and texture as possible.

Brother Makes Prom Dress For Sister After Finding Out Parents Can’t Afford To Rent Her One

Send Flowers Online

Even if you and your siblings sometimes fight over ridiculous stuff, deep down in your heart you know they would always have your back no matter what troubles or hardships you’d happen to face. That’s why when Filipino man Maverick Francisco Oyao found out his parents couldn’t afford to rent a prom dress for his sister Lu Asey he decided to make her one from scratch. Maverick ended up creating a dress worthy of a Disney princess and the look on his sister’s face says it all.

See the dream dress and Mave’s creative process in the gallery below!

This Filipino man created an incredible prom dress for his sister

This was the initial sketch of the dress

Their parents couldn’t afford to rent a prom dress so Maverick did what any good brother would do – created one from scratch

He even painted the bodice by hand

The man gathered the needed materials with the help of some people

Check out all the work that went into creating the dress!

So Mave took it upon himself to make her happy, literally crafting the solution with his bare hands. He even painted part of the dress to create a unique and stylish piece of clothing! The prom happened on Valentine’s Day, so the dress was a perfect example of brotherly love for the occasion.

Mave’s sister loved the dress and happily posed for pictures

Maverick was inspired by ball dresses, especially Michael Cinco’s spring and summer collection.

Here’s a video of Lu wearing the dress

Looking at the finished product you might think Maverick works as a designer but he’s actually a student studying culture and arts education. It took the man about a week to finish Lu’s majestic dress.

People loved Lu’s dress and complimented Mave on his skills

14 Stunning Photos Show What Disney Princesses Would Look Like If They Were African American

It would be hard to find a little girl who’s never wanted to be a Disney princess. Or any princess for that matter. Unfortunately, our media is not very inclusive and the majority of iconic princesses in children’s movies and books fit a very stiff mold that not all children can relate to. But as our society is becoming more progressive, so is the media and art. Hairstylist LaChanda Gatson decided to redefine the image of a traditional princess in a stunning photoshoot that showcases elegant, colorful and brave African American princesses.

Regis and Kahran, the duo behind CreativeSoul Photography, produced a series of 14 photographs showcasing princesses with “[their] own dash of style, culture and swag”. Bored Panda reached out to the photographer duo and they provided a brief explanation behind the project. “The princess series was created by hairstylist LaChanda Gatson and child photographers CreativeSoul Photography,” they explained how this project was a collaboration between creative minds.

The goal is to inspire more girls around the world to start seeing themselves as regal princesses,” the photographers explained. We could definitely spot some similarities with the iconic Disney princesses so we decided to guess which ones they might represent! Although we might’ve been wrong in guessing which princess from the photoshoot might be related to a Disney princess, so let us know in the comments if you think otherwise! Scroll down and see the stunning princesses for yourself. Or, if you like the artistic photographs so much you wish you could frame them on the wall, you can snag a print or two by clicking here.

The photographers also revealed that people’s response has been great so far! “The social media response has been amazing with currently over 75,000 reshares on our Facebook post and several other pages,” they told us.

Regis and Kahran see themselves as artists “obsessed with unique, visual storytelling”. The two connected over their passion for photography and capturing precious moments. From that, their loves stemmed and the couple “fell head over heels in love with one another” and eventually it resulted in them creating CreativeSoul Photography.

They’ve been in the game for over 7 years now and have worked with hundreds of children, families and brands to create stunning visual tales. Their “holistic approach to capturing one-of-a-kind moments has allowed their work to be featured in Essence magazine, Munaluchi Bride, MochaKid magazine, on The Real daytime talk show, on the OWN network, and more.”

People Started Chopping The Heads Off Their Angel Cookie Cutters To Create Baby Yoda Treats

Since the Mandalorian first aired, the internet has been obsessed with ‘baby Yoda’. Adoring the cute cooing and laughing at the shenanigans with the bounty hunter, people responded by creating hundreds of memes, crafting various Yoda-themed projects and even reimagining baby Yoda as a variety of Disney princesses.

Now, as the holiday season is approaching, many people are throwing themselves at making gifts, as well as delicious holiday treats. One Instagram user named Katy shared a genius hack on how to turn the classic angel cookies into trendy baby Yoda shapes with just one simple step. “When you chop off the head of an Angel cookie cutter it sorta looks like Baby Yoda!” the caption next to a series of pictures said. And we got to say, it sure looks cute!

One woman posted this awesome cookie hack on her social media

Although the adorable creature became known as ‘baby Yoda’ across the internet, it’s actually unknown if he has any connection to the legendary Jedi Master from the Star Wars series. We only know that they’re definitely not the same being (for spoiler-y reasons) and that they belong to the same species. Officially ‘baby Yoda’ is known as The Child and is heavily featured in the Mandalorian series, where he is an ‘asset’ hunted by bounty hunters for mysterious reasons. The Child possesses a strong connection to the Force, showing off his incredible skill (he’s just a baby) multiple times during the 6 episodes that have aired so far. The upcoming two episodes of The Mandalorian are set to be released before the year ends, so we might still get some details on who ‘baby Yoda’ actually is. Some fans have, however, speculated that he might actually be Yoda’s son.

With some decoration added, it definitely works!

Disney Princesses Reimagined In Realistic Settings By Artist Andhika Muksin (24 Pics)

Disney movies always show princesses looking their best – ironed clothes, pristine hairstyles, perfect makeup and all that. Tired of all this perfection, Indonesian artist Andhika Muksin decided to reimagine the princesses in more realistic settings and the results are absolutely hilarious.

Even princesses have their share of regular girl moments and this artist illustrates just that. Morning hair, runny makeup and lots and lots of bad angles – see the Disney princesses reimagined in realistic settings in the gallery below! Also, don’t forget to check out our previous post here!
