Mass-Produced Dolls Repainted To Look More Realistic By Noel Cruz

Some people might say that dolls are toys for kids and nothing more. But incredible artists like Noel Cruz can change the minds of even the harshest critics.

The Filipino artist, currently working in the USA, repaints regular dolls and makes them into one-of-a-kind pieces of art.

He has already transformed dozens of simple dolls by giving them realistic faces of actors and characters. Noel’s repaints are done with intricate detail to the point of being naturally lifelike in essence. Repainted dolls are sold as collectors’ items and have created quite a market for handcrafted products like this.

Take a look at some of the “before-after” images and prepare to be amazed by the talent of Noel Cruz.

Cher Is Ready to Take Dreamers into Her Home “and Protect Them”

Cher may be getting a couple of new roommates. When it was announced that the current government administration plans to rescind the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, the singer took to Twitter to make a call for action. “Those who can must take a dreamer in2 their home & protect them!!” she tweeted, referring to the undocumented immigrants who were brought to the United States as children, a group often described as Dreamers. “I’m ready 2 do this & others in my business will do the same!!”

But not everyone had faith that the singer will put her money—or her housing—where her mouth is and invite a stranger or two into the four-bedroom, three-bathroom Beverly Hills home she paid $2.145 million for in 2013 (with 3,100 square feet of house and 25,000 square feet of land, the private and gated home would be a perfect place to host controversial guests). “Sure you will Cher.. I’ll believe it when I see it,” one of her followers tweeted back.

But the pop diva was not taking any arguments when it comes to her stance on the important issue. “Then keep your eyes open b****,” Cher tweeted back at the woman. We can just imagine “Believe” playing in the background as she pressed send.

Since the Obama administration began DACA in 2012, 787,580 people have been approved for the program. To be eligible, applicants had to have arrived in the United States before the age of 16 and have lived in the country since June 15, 2007.
