30 Artists Who Accepted The “Art Vs. Artist” Challenge

When it comes to online challenges, we instantly think about something silly, like the “ice bucket challenge” or even something stupid like the “Tide Pod challenge”. But not all challenges are created equal – and today I want to introduce one that everyone whose into art will be able to appreciate.

Someone on Twitter recently started a challenge titled “Art vs. Artist” where artists share portraits of themselves next to their art. It did not take long for it to go viral and soon enough artists from all over the world began sharing their submissions. Check out some of the best ones in the gallery below – and if you’re an artist yourself, maybe you’ll even consider participating!

Aušrys Uptas

One day, this guy just kind of figured – “I spend most of my time on the internet anyway, why not turn it into a profession?” – and he did! Now he not only gets to browse the latest cat videos and fresh memes every day but also shares them with people all over the world, making sure they stay up to date with everything that’s trending on the web. Some things that always pique his interest are old technologies, literature and all sorts of odd vintage goodness. So if you find something that’s too bizarre not to share, make sure to hit him up!

Got wisdom to pour?
