8 Beautiful Homes of AD’s Favorite Celebrity Couples

There are couple goals, and then there are design couple goals, and these beautiful homes of these eight famous pairs may be the crème de la crème in that department. Whether we’re imagining Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber lounging in the open-air living room of their Los Cabos, Mexico, villa or Gisele Bündchen and Tom Brady sprawling on the neutral-colored sofa in the gorgeous master bedroom of their Los Angeles estate, each idea is more enviable than the next. Here are some more examples, from Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi, to Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith, to swipe some inspiration from, whether your style be vintage ping-pong tables in your entrance area or repoussé drum stools.

The living room of the New York City townhouse of Brooke Shields and her husband, Chris Henchy, features Louis XVI–style armchairs, a French Empire commode, and a 1970s Lucite-base cocktail table. A Keith Haring painting, which was a gift from the artist, sits above the fireplace, framed by two portraits of the couple’s daughters, by artist Will Cotton.

Parota-wood beams line the ceiling of Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber’s open-air living room in Los Cabos, Mexico, which features linen-covered lounge chairs and custom-made tripod floor lamps. A vintage pillow and throw from John Robshaw brighten up the room.

A chandelier with matching sconces above the mantel sets a romantic tone in the master bedroom of the Los Angeles home of Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen. The theme is carried throughout the couple’s room, with neutral tones, soft lines, and a splash of pink above the mantel.

In Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi’s Beverly Hills home, a ping-pong table by Argentine artist Rirkrit Tiravanija makes a surprising statement in the couple’s entrance hall, which also features a Spanish Colonial bench, high windows, and plenty of greenery to offset the clean white walls.

A vibrant digital print by Jeremy Blake sets the tone in the living room of Sir Elton John and music producer David Furnish’s Los Angeles home. Anchored by a Willy Rizzo–style pink-lacquer cocktail table, a David LaChapelle photograph hangs on the far wall of the couple’s living room.

It’s easy to imagine John Legend and Chrissy Teigen relaxing in this living area of the 1960s Hollywood Hills home the couple renovated, complete with a wall of windows and a piano. With a sectional sofa and a silk shag carpet, the space is as comfortable as it is creative (especially with the added touch of the dog sculpture from Craig Olsen).

The parlor-floor salon of the New York City townhouse of Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka is perfect for entertaining: It’s outfitted with a bar that was salvaged from a Connecticut hotel. Artworks by Ed Ruscha, Ahmed Alsoudani, and Francesca Gabbiani are the perfect finishing touches.

The master suite in Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith’s Malibu home includes a custom-made bed with a draped canopy of brass ball chains, as well as lounge chairs upholstered in an Old World Weavers cotton with matching chain fringe. Keeping with the vibrant feel, there’s also a repoussé drum stool and a hand-knotted-silk area rug.
