Rose McGowan Lists Her $1.9 Million Hollywood Hills Home Ahead Of Citizen Rose Premiere

Rose McGowan is a woman on a mission. The Brave author recently listed her Hollywood Hills home for $1.9 million to help pay for legal fees in her ongoing battle against Hollywood mega-producer Harvey Weinstein. The actress’s 2,927-square-foot, contemporary-style home includes four bedrooms and three bathrooms spread out over two floors, with an open-tread switchback floating staircase connecting the two. Perhaps a slightly more unusual feature of the house is that many of the home’s common rooms are situated on the second floor, including an airy living room that sits at the top of the stairs and an adjacent dining room separated by a double-sided raised hearth fireplace.

The second floor of the home also includes two guest bedrooms that share a hall bathroom with a double-sink vanity and travertine-lined combination bathtub and shower (one of the rooms is lined on one side with a bank of glass doors that opens out onto the backyard; the living room has a similar feature). In the backyard, McGowan’s home includes a lounge area perfect for entertaining, with a fire pit and an al fresco covered dining area. As an extra bonus, a wall above the fire pit is covered in a black-and-white mural that hides an above-ground molded plastic spa. Rose McGowan is no stranger to the Hollywood real estate machine—in 2011, she sold a 4,300-square-foot, 1920s Andalusian villa in Los Feliz for $1.775 million. Before that, she sold a Hollywood Heights hillside cottage in 2004 for $1.235 million to fellow actress Rachel Bilson.
