It’s time for joy and time for cheer! With Christmas right around the corner, celebrities like Kylie Jenner, Gisele Bundchen, and Rob Lowe are getting into the Christmas spirit and setting up their holiday decor. Although almost every celebrity Christmas tree is oversize in either height or width (or both), each tree is uniquely decorated. Whether they chose a real or tinsel tree, white or colored string lights, single-toned or multicolored ornaments, each tree shows a different aspect of its owner’s personality and taste, and adds something different to their home’s design. Many, including Jenna Dewan Tatum and Molly Sims, enlisted their children for some holiday family time, while Yolanda Hadid trimmed her tree solo while daughters Gigi and Bella were away. Regardless of the choices made, inspiration can be drawn from each tree and its spectacular decor as the countdown to Christmas continues.
Kylie Jenner chose a Jeff Leatham–designed 20-foot pink frosted tree with oversize baubles to go with her pop art along the staircase. Adding to the festivity, she put twin pink elves on her mirrored table below the stairs.
Meanwhile, it was a true California Christmas at the house of artistic designer Leatham, who gave his husband, Colton Haynes, holiday decor to remember with three identical poolside trees.
Reese Witherspoon used nature to bring out the beauty of her tree, with large blooms and pinecones taking the place of traditional ornaments.
Mindy Kaling went a more traditional route, decking out the corner of her living room with an angel-topped tree, which a friend helped her water when Kaling’s pregnant belly prevented it.
Molly Sims also went traditional, with her three children, Brooks, Scarlett, and Grey, helping to pick colorful ornaments from their storage bins for a family activity.
Also enlisting her whole family’s help, Jenna Dewan and Channing Tatum’s daughter Everly added ornaments to their colorfully lit tree with disco ball and textured baubles.
Gisele Bundchen snapped a photo of her and Tom Brady’s children, Vivian and Benjamin, adding baubles to their wide tree, set next to a glass-paned wall for outside admirers to enjoy.
Chip and Joanna Gaines similarly placed their tree in a window-surrounded corner and trimmed it with white and silver garland and baubles to use as a background for their Christmas candy–decorating station.
Nate Berkus enlisted a similar color palette, but added some personality with plush animal ornaments.
Celebrity hairstylist Jen Atkin added color to her white tinsel tree with a grand gingerbread house display from Khloe Kardashian.
Luke Bryan and wife Caroline placed their slender tree in the middle of the living room, adding silver twigs and gold ribbons to complement their white-and-tan room.
Yolanda Hadid handled the tree decorating at her house, getting it ready for her constantly traveling daughters Gigi and Bella, enhancing the decor with an understated gray reindeer pillow.
If classically gorgeous is more your style, get some inspiration from Kevin Hart’s gold-trimmed tree. He used a cascade of ribbons, flowers, and gold bulbs to cover almost every bit of green, and accented it with light-up presents. Situated between his dual grand staircase, he used garland and the same ribbon and mini baubles to cover the bannister.
Kelly Ripa’s “elegant lady” tree is a tall New York dream situated next to floor-to-ceiling windows. She added color to her white strings of light with beaded garland and warm ornaments.
Rob Lowe’s towering tree just looks like family with colorful lights and mismatched ornaments covering every spare branch. It looks like his family got a head start on the Christmas shopping, with boxes upon boxes already waiting underneath the tree.
