If you feel as if you missed an opportunity to snatch up John Legend and Chrissy Teigen’s former Hollywood Hills home, this will come as good news: It’s back on the market! After the celebrity couple sold their home just three weeks after listing it in 2014, the new homeowners are relisting the property according to Trulia. The current price is $2.495 million, half a million more than Teigen and Legend sold it for in 2014, according to Trulia. Legend and Teigen updated the 2,200-square-foot home with the help of designer Don Stewart. They completely gutted the 1960s residence to reflect their “chic and tailored but also earthy and casual” style, Legend revealed to Architectural Digest after the update.
The three-bedroom, three-bathroom residence sits at the end of a cul-de-sac completely surrounded by lush landscape with a distinct Thai influence. Floor-to-ceiling windows and glass doors surround the open living and kitchen area, which opens up to a multi-level terrace and creates an indoor-outdoor vibe. The house also has dark tiled floor mirrors with bronze paneling around the fireplace and rift-cut teak cabinets, giving the space a natural feel. The high-end kitchen is outfitted with custom basalt countertops and Thermador appliances. While Teigen and Legend converted one bedroom into a recording studio, the master bedroom is complete with a large dressing room with multiple shelves, drawers, and hanging bars, anchored by an impressive shoe rack. A basalt tub sits just outside the master suite among the private gardens, which lead to the wrap-around terraces. Along with daybeds and sofas, the terrace is home to a hot tub with hillside views.
