Have you ever seen paintings that have wrinkles on them? Ever wondered how these paintings are done? I am going to teach you how to work with this technique!
Here are the materials you need:
- Rice paper
- Water Color
In this painting, I used flowers as my subject matter! You don’t necessarily have to use flowers and can paint something else like a tree, vase or whatever you please! The only technique that you will need to achieve this result is that after you apply watercolor paints and finish the painting process, you will need to wrinkle the paper and iron the back of it. This way the paints that are applied on the grooves created by wrinkling the paper will look like darker lines.
